Project Summary

The goal was to designed a clean, responsive website for a local photographer to help him showcase his work and attract new clients online. Working within a limited budget, I focused on simplicity and clarity — building a layout that highlights imagery over interface.

Problem Statement

Many small business owners struggle to establish an online presence due to limited design experience and tight budgets. My friend Thomas Kane wanted to share his photography online but couldn’t afford a professional designer.

Process

Research: Studied other photography portfolio sites for layout and hierarchy.

Insights: Users wanted large imagery, minimal text, and quick contact options.

Design: Built responsive wireframes in Figma and VS Code.

Test: Verified usability on mobile and desktop.

Result: Increased client inquiries and improved portfolio presentation.

I created a clean, user-friendly portfolio website that showcased TK’s photography and helped him attract new clients. I designed the layout for visual impact while maintaining simplicity — emphasizing his work, not the website.

Environmental Application (Final Proof)

Final gallery design emphasizes consistency, scannability, and visual priority.
